DO THIS! PLEASE!

 Hey!
I got an email in my spam that was from PMX, they are asking if you have suggestions on where you want it to be next year.
The message title is "PMX Free December Events ", so open it if you have not yet. The message reads like they did not get the same hotel for PMX 11 and are talking other places in Pasadena, aka the middle of FREAKING NO WHERE, or moving it back to LA. Sof if you went, and the cramped  layout of that stupid hotel bugged you to no end--really the LA one always felt bigger because we got more physical space and were not confined to one floor--respond to them as I did and state your opinion as wanting to move it back to LA.  They in turn will forward it to who is in charge of deciding on locations.

Democracy, baby! Yeah!

Movin'

Heeey.
So like Andi, or rather I got it like ten minutes before her, I got a blogspot!
Thats me down there. Sorry, I was to lazy to html that.  Mine strictly is going to be craft, mori/dolly kei related, so I can still blog here. Theoretically when I bother to blog at all. But anyways, I'll see you on the other side if you have one.

Supernatural 5.18--"Point of No Return"

I've been wanting to do this for a while, write a review and all, and today with a bit of help of that large cup of Starbucks coffee at nine, who else got free coffee on tax day, I've got some motivation to do it.

So let's dive right in.

The opening scene, I found it mildly amusing that this angel of God, who hates humans with a passion was sitting here all too human like with his tie loosened at a bar with a cup of Scotch relating to a human being. It was ironic really, how he could relate to physical human being yet still harbor such resentment for us filthy monkeys. Anyways, the voice of the angel raised a question, who exactly is Zach's boss? Another angel not quite introduced or is it Mike as he suggested later on?

The relationship between Castiel and Dean is getting a bit more on time cannon time, which seems to be a method of yanking the shipper's chain, perhaps a bit too hard. Was the "Blow me," comment really necessary? Of all the things Dean could have said, that came out of his mouth? Woah, writers.

Is it just me or did Cas rebel for a cause he does not have faith in, is that not a tad bit contradictory? He has enough faith to rebel from heaven, and get cut off from his powers to fall from grace, obviously not all of them since he was still showing them off this episode, yet not have faith in Dean for saying no? Odd. Well, it was quite entertaining to see him take off that tie, though that pretty shade of blue does wonders for Misha's lovely eyes, literally. Beating the crap out of Dean, then wasting a total of seven angels, I agree with Dean, "Never mess with the nerdy angels." Seriously or Cas will get you. I do hope that is not the end of him, watching his character development as the initial "poor example of an angel" has been fascinating. It gives a certain depth to the idea that they were playing with last season, that not every demon is evil, nor every angel sure of God. He seems a good foil to Ruby, although that one did not end well, I think Cas is genuine in his emotions, as opposed to that black eyed bitch. Then again, never was a fan of her.

Resurrecting Adam was a main point in this episode, if Death can bring back the body of someone who was cremated angels should be able to do the same thing. The Winchester blind spot has always been family, and will always be so, which makes the dynamic so interesting. Clearly, they have no limits how far they will go for family, even for a bastard child who pretty much claimed that he wanted no part with them. I will say that Adam is a little more attractive when he is not covered in blood, dirt and grim, however I still do not see him as nearly attractive as either of the boys. Call me biased. How his personality mirrored Dean's in earlier seasons was a little disturbing, though I don't see why he tried to deepen his voice like Jensen and Misha do. Perhaps he was in on the deep voice game?

I love that Dean and Sam were able to resolve some of their issues this episode, that Dean will finally see Sam as his brother, his partner in crime, an equal as opposed to some shaggy haired, puppy eyed boy that he needs to protect. Acknowledging this means that they will not need to be nearly as drastic as they were before, because sacrificing yourself for your brother is noble, doing it twice sounds a bit redundant.

Adam brings up another point, if he was able to contact Zach through a dream, could not Sam and Dean be found by Lucifer or other angels the same way, or are they better protected?

I loved the ending, here is hoping for some better way for fighting the angels and the impending doom of the world!

On a small note, Motel Hell? Really? Sounds like another silly filler episode. Ah well, if they take a break from the drama and hysteria, and the dragging of John's name through the dirt more, I'm game. Or return of Castiel. Please say he is not dead. Wrapping up some loose ends, and introducing a proper female character, but that sure as hell isn't going to happen.
